Kenyan Citizen Registration

Kenyans living in or visiting Burundi are encouraged to register with the Embassy. This registration helps the Embassy provide assistance in case of emergencies.

Kenyans Visiting Burundi

Kenyans can enter Burundi visa-free for 180 days. To extend your stay beyond this period, apply for a resident visa at the Immigration Offices before the days expire.

For Non Kenyans

Citizens from East African Partner States, including Burundi, are exempt from the requirement of an Electronic Travel Authorization for a period of six (6) months.
